Adult Safeguarding Toolkits
Guy & Cesar’s adult safeguarding toolkits give parents, schools, and professionals structured guidance for calm, proactive conversations with children. Each toolkit matches a specific Guy & Cesar® story. It also provides the adult pathway that completes the safeguarding method. This means adults get clear next steps, from guided discussion to structured safeguarding action.
Why the Toolkit Is Essential
Each Guy & Cesar storybook introduces one safeguarding theme in calm, child-appropriate language. The Adult Toolkit Pack completes that method. It gives adults a clear framework to explore the topic responsibly. It also helps them ask the right questions, notice early indicators, and decide on appropriate next steps.
These toolkits were developed within the UK safeguarding landscape. However, they are also designed to fit within existing frameworks internationally. They do not replace statutory duties. Instead, they strengthen early identification, documentation awareness, and structured adult-child communication.
The Guy & Cesar adult toolkit follows a clear six-step safeguarding process. As a result, it helps parents, teachers, and professionals recognise concerns, support children, and take appropriate safeguarding action. These toolkits also support the safeguarding conversations introduced through the Guy & Cesar storybooks used by parents and schools.

These adult-only safeguarding toolkits help you to:
• Support children in understanding sensitive topics safely
• Document observations clearly and responsibly
• Recognise early safeguarding indicators
• Follow structured response pathways when needed
These resources are designed for parents, carers, educators, safeguarding leads, and early years professionals.
