Why the Toolkits Exist

Each Guy & Cesar storybook introduces one safeguarding theme in developmentally appropriate language. That matters — but it is only the starting point.

The Adult Toolkit Pack is the structured layer that completes the method. It helps adults explore the topic properly, ask the right questions, notice potential concerns early, and take appropriate next steps within their own safeguarding or child protection system.

The Two-Layer Model

Child Layer (Storybook)
A calm, age-appropriate introduction to one safeguarding topic. It supports safe language, communication confidence, and protective understanding.

Adult Layer (Toolkit)
A structured roadmap for the adult. It guides the conversation, supports observation over time, and helps the adult respond appropriately within their local safeguarding framework.
